A singular snapshot album documenting the 1976 Season of Kansas motocross racers Jim Montgomery and Dan Williams.The pair competed in the 125cc Expert Class of amateur events throughout the State sanctioned by the KMSA, a regional sanctioning body organized by Kansas AMA clubs including the Wichita Jeeps, the Sprockets (of Rose Hill), etc... and held in locations including: Wichita (at the Sprockets' track), Knobby Hills (Manhattan), Chanute, Phillipsburg, Dodge City, etc...

An uncommon vernacular record of this American motorcycle subculture in more than 150 period color snapshots documenting the racing action, travel, and spectator of the mid-1970's Midwestern motocross scene.

Leather over boards. Post-bound at left margins. Black spray paint stenciled title lettering to front: "MOTO-CROSS / 1976-SEASON / 125cc EXPERT / 2nd - STATE / JIM MONTGOMERY / DAN WILLIAMS." 167 color snapshot photographs loosely fit into pockets at rectos and versos of 19 clear archival leaves. Album exterior worn, moderately soiled. Prints generally with some mild to moderate curling. Rectos often with ink notation, some shadowing, paper residue, and frequent areas of discolor from previous mounting to now perished adhesive leaves. Overall about good only.
