A group of eight, 11" x 14" c-prints of photographs by Gregory Crewdson (b. 1962) produced, as the verso labels suggest, for previewing purposes ahead of gallery exhibitions circa-1999. Prints are unsigned and outside of the oeuvre of official work by the important American photographer, thtough each is remarkably well-executed in rich and vivid color.

[CREWDSON, Gregory]. [Group of Eight Gregory Crewdson Photographs]. [New York, New York]: [ca. 1999]. Eight chromogenic print color photographs, each on approximately 11" x 14" single weight paper stock with verso markings by either Kodak or Fujicolor. Two with small printed labels to versos reading "for previewing purposes only [...]" ; one with a printed label from the Luhring Augustine Gallery ; the balance blank with no verso additions. Faint, soft curl at lower edge of one print, else group near fine.
